Our Story
Aloha and welcome to Napua O' Polynesia. Since 1988, we have performed at numerous places nationwide and taught Polynesian dance to beginner and advanced dancers across New England.
Our name means “Flowers of Polynesia” and we’re committed to teaching others about the beauty of Polynesian culture. Our dance troupe was founded in 1988 by artistic director Carolyn Castro. For over 30 years, our troupe has performed at events in New England and competed three times at the International Hula Competition in Honolulu, Hawaii.
We aim to bring the beauty of the Polynesian Islands, Tahiti, and the Philippines to people all over the US. We teach others about Polynesian culture through traditional dance performances and in our Polynesian dance classes.

Our Class Schedule
With our Polynesian dance classes, anyone can learn to dance. Napua O' Polynesia partners with the Carriage House Theater in Providence, RI to offer unique dance classes to the community.
Our classes take place every Saturday at the following times:
- Beginner Classes: 3:30-4:30 pm
- Advanced Classes: 4:30-5:30 pm
